SENIOR ACTIVITIES FOR HOPE VALLEY UNITING CHURCH

 

 

Our aim is to provide senior members of our community with:

• Fellowship

• Friendship

• A sense of belonging and value as faithful followers
  of Jesus Christ:

 

A range of activities with a Seniors' focus are listed below
(visitors are always welcome):

• Church Service – Every Sunday at 8.30am

• Worship and Healing Service – held on the 1^st Wednesday of the month at 7.00pm

• "Day Fellowship" on the second  Tuesday of each month

• "50 Plus Group", meets each Friday

• "Care and Share" on every second Thursday

• Home Fellowship Groups, meet at various times

• Bible Studies

• Walking Group

• Tennis Group

• Prayer Group (Wednesday mornings)

• "Patchwork" - (day group) meets on Tuesdays

• Craft Group meets each second Friday

• Volunteering – e.g. morning teas, cleaning, gardening, library

• Hymn Afternoons
